This is the current extend of my Watson research. Most of it was gleaned from a family bible handed down to my mother from her mother. Unfortunately there were a lot of Watsons in London and so progress is not easy.
1. Robert Watson. Born About 1780.
He married Elizabeth Goodes?, 6 May 1803 in St Mary, St. Marylebone Rd, St Marylebone, London. Born About 1780. They had the following children:

2. Robert Watson. Born 8 Mar 1809 in Queenhithe, City of London. Christen 29 Mar 1809 in St. Michael, Queenhithe,London. Died 1 Apr 1865. Buried 7 Apr 1865 in All Saints, Fulham. Occupation Accountant.
Already dead when Frederick married Sarah Jane Chapman (according to Marriage cert)
[Death date of 1 Apr 1865 from Illustrated New Testament given to Frances Margaret Watson nee Welsh. However this entry may refer to son Robert - it is not clear from the entry].
He married Frances Margaret Welch, daughter of George Welch & Margaret Amery?, 10 Nov 1834 in St. James, Clerkenwell, Middx. Born 21 Mar 1816 in 29 Bow Lane, London. Christen 13 Feb 1817 in St. Thomas Apostle, London.
Given an Illustrated New Testament by her husband in 1848. She kept a record of all her children's births in it.
Emily Welsh was a witness to Frances' Wedding. They may have been sisters.

5. Louis Stephen Watson. Born 27 Jun 1837 in 11 Gracechurch St.,. Christen 8 Oct 1843 in St Marys, St Vincent Sq, Westminster.

6. Albert Watson. Born 21 Apr 1839 in 22 Gloucester Ter, Vauxhall Bridge Rd. Died 24 Aug 1840. Buried in St Johns Ground, Horseferry Rd., London.

9. Frederick Watson. Born 9 Feb 1845 in 6 Howick Ter., Belgravia. Christen 2 Jul 1848 in St Lukes, Chelsea, Middx. Died 7 Jan 1923 in 103 St. Dunstans Rd, Fulham, London. Occupation Soldier (Musician?) Sales Representative. Death Cause Gastric Carcinoma. Military Company K 22nd New York Cavalry.
Letter found regarding rent of 3 St. Maur Road, somewhere (which is where Fred & Sarah lived)
Taken from Illust. New Testament belonging to mother quote "Frederick Watson born Sunday night 9th February 1845 at 12-30..."
Fought in the American Civil War (1861-1865) for the North. Attended the inauguration of the Lincoln Statue in Grosvenor Sq., London. He got a pension from his fighting & apparently was given some land in America (which he was cheated out of apparently).
He married Sarah Jane Chapman, daughter of John Chapman & Sarah Foot, 13 Apr 1879 in St. Luke, Chelsea, Middx. Born 19 Dec 1852 in 9 Lower Grove, Brompton, Middx. Died 29 Jul 1920 in 3 St Maur Rd, Fulham. Buried in Fulham Cemetery, London. Death Cause Peritonitus. They had the following children:
